Privacy policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Western Umbrella Corp ("Western Umbrella", "we") is based in Brossard, Québec. This policy explains what personal information we collect through westernumbrella.com and through Sarai's phone line, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and the rights you have under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's PIPEDA.
Person in charge of personal information
Steven Fils-Aimé, founder, is responsible for the protection of personal information at Western Umbrella. You can reach him at steven@westernbridger.com (put "Privacy" in the subject line).
What we collect
Contact form: your name, email, company, phone number (optional), the topic you pick, your message and the language of the page.
Calls to Sarai (+1 438-703-7015): your phone number, the call audio and transcript, and a summary with the details you choose to give (for example your name, company, the reason for your call and when to call you back). Sarai is an AI assistant, and she'll confirm it if you ask.
Technical data: our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or any tool that profiles you.
Why we use it
To answer your request, schedule and hold discovery calls, follow up on messages left with Sarai, and prepare proposals you ask for. We also use technical data to keep the site secure.
We don't sell or rent personal information, we don't add you to mailing lists, and we don't make automated decisions about you.
Who processes it for us
We rely on a few service providers, each used only for the purposes above: Web3Forms (form delivery), Google Workspace (email and records), ElevenLabs (Sarai's voice AI: call handling, transcripts, recordings and summaries), Twilio (the phone line), Vercel (website hosting) and ntfy (a short call alert sent to Steven's phone).
Some of these providers store information outside Québec, including in the United States, where it is subject to local laws.
How long we keep it
We keep requests and call records only as long as we need them to follow up with you, and no longer than 24 months after our last exchange, unless you become a client (then for the length of our relationship and as the law requires).
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it to answer you. Our accounts are protected with multi-factor authentication, and information travels over encrypted connections.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, receive it in a structured format, withdraw your consent or have it deleted. Write to steven@westernbridger.com and we'll answer within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Demo recordings on this site
The Sarai demo calls on this site are real calls with businesses. Business names, staff names and the customer's surname are removed or toned out. If you recognize your voice and want a recording taken down, write to steven@westernbridger.com and we'll remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
